Our staff and advisers are savvy travelers and long-time business people with local, regional, national and international experience.
We know what it means to be in an unfamiliar city wondering what to do for the day, the evening, or for a meal out.
This website and our magazine are designed to quickly and easily guide our guests and our hotel partners’ guests, even local Puget Sound “explorers”, to the best of this region’s attractions, restaurants, shopping opportunities, and interesting current events.

On the business side, our ads are priced far lower than they could be, and that’s for a reason:  because we want to build win/win relationships and be around a long time.  We know our advertisers do too.  We also know that many of them are tired of advertising that doesn’t pay off, or isn’t targeted to their audience, or isn’t measurable, or is too expensive.

Why start this magazine and its website?  Because quality portable, practical and topical local travel information is needed, very much, as tourism and “insider” exploration increases beyond typical “core areas” like Seattle.  Don’t get us wrong, we love Seattle!  In fact, we’re local people too, involved in the community, and excited about expanding everyone’s appreciation for the region we all call home.  We want to put the Puget Sound area and its many communities, with their fantastic attractions, restaurants and shopping spots “on the map” with travelers to this area, all around the Sound.  That’s why we have spent lots of time, money and effort to create Destination: Puget Sound, a FREE  and very local travel magazine.
